What's the best dog you've ever had?

I lost touch with Blancmage (the band) sometime in the 80s (I lost touch with blancmange, the party food, a good ten years earlier). And then recently (this year) I found them again. What's the Time from their Unfurnished Rooms album is on constant rotation here at Medd Towers. Not sure blancmange will ever make a comeback though - my head was turned by Angel Delight (butterscotch flavour) in the late 70s and I've never looked back since.

  1. Butterscotch is indeed the best.

    1. Makes you wonder why they even bother with the other flavours.

  2. On the basis of this I must listen to some more Blancmange, they're sounding better and more edgy to my ears now.
Hated blancmange the foodstuff but loved butterscotch (of course) Angel Delight. I can only imagine the taste now; I've finally gone and got the dreaded Covid and sweet things taste foul!

  3. I'm a custard man myself - even as a youngster I never developed a taste for either blancmange or angel delight, in spite of my Nan's best efforts. I did, however, thoroughly enjoy 'What's the Time'. Very good indeed, with a nice nod to the 'Honky Tonk Women' riff running through it.

    1. Custard is still very much up there for me as well; homemade or tinned.
Glad yuu liked 'What's the Time'. You hear the Stones, I hear a regurgitated T. Rex riff. (Probably amounts to the same thing.)
