Who wants to live forever? Cryogenics, anyone? Nah, me neither. This kind of appeals tho' - my friends Julian and Kerry have been immortalised via the medium of Scalextric. You heard right; slot car racing is a big thing at The Dragon pub in Nottingham. So much so, not only can you take part but you can be in the crowd; as in be in the crowd. Pretty cool, huh?

    I don't want to live forever... but the idea of shrinking my body down and being fixed to the side of a racing track for all eternity is the stuff of nightmares.

    I quite like it as an idea. I was pretty obsessed with plastic figures as a kid. Being turned into one at some point, hopefully far into my future, 30 years say, is quite appealing

    I don't want to live forever but I wouldn't mind being a plastic figure, as long as they gave me good hair and a cool outfit.

    Can you imagine a set of blogger figurines? We could all be immortalised in plastic so that we can live on long after the internet has called time on our blogs.
