This House


Last night at our Songwriters Circle I was privileged to sit next to Peter Lister when he played This House. I just about kept it together, but lost it at the end. He sent me the Soundcloud link to it today and I listened to it again; only this time I didn't make it to the end.

    Such a beautiful song. My house just didn't turn out like This House, so I've also got something in my eye.

    TS/OTH/CC - It floored me, it really did. When a song has this sort of effect on me I know it's going to be by my side for a long time to come.

    We've been in our current house for 20 years now and has seen us journey through the school years, and have the grandparents round for Christmas every year. Now it's just the two of us - Quite a song.
