Kinky
That's tomorrow sorted then: train into town, a couple of beers in the Nell Gwynne (just off The Strand), followed by a five minute walk to the Harold Pinter Theatre. Let's hope it really is a Sunny Afternoon.
Will be interested to know what you think of it - will you let us know? My old schoolpals and I have been talking about going to see it for a grand day out in London, but haven't got round to organising anything yet.
I certainly will. I was drawn to it, not least because I absolutely love The Kinks, because John Dagleish is playing Ray Davies: John starred in Truckers recently on the BBC and is one of the few actors I know who can nail a Nottingham accent. I also had a run in with his dad at a songwriting competition a couple of years back, but the least said about that the better.
